Class 4 Laser Therapy

Paton and Lee are now able to offer Class 4 therapeutic laser treatment for your horse either at our practice or on-site throughout Essex and Suffolk for a range of different orthopaedic conditions . 
Class 4 laser therapy is a safe non-invasive form of treatment that uses high doses of targeted near infrared laser energy. This provides pain relief, reduces inflammation and improves healing. 
Common musculoskeletal injuries that benefit from laser treatment include tendonitis, suspensory ligament injuries and back/ sacro-iliac problems. Class 4 laser is also able to stimulate wound healing and can be used in routine maintenace pre and post competition. 
The treatment can be administered on site and usually does not necessitate sedation. There is evidence based medicine supporting its use and is a recognised form of treatment in most insurance claims.
