Visitors
When visiting the practice, cars may park in our front car park, which is directly outside the main reception. There is wheelchair access via a slope outside the main reception door.
Horseboxes
Horse boxes are to follow the main driveway (signposted) round to the right and will come to two large metal gates. Enter the yard via these gates keeping them closed at all times when not in use and upon arrival report to the reception or a member of staff. We ask that you please do not unload your horse until a member of our team has spoken to you.

Collection & postage of drugs or prescriptions
- THE OFFICE REQUIRE 24 HOURS NOTICE FOR THE PREPARATION OF DRUGS OR PRESCRIPTIONS FOR COLLECTION.
Prescription only medications (POMs) can and will only be supplied to horses under our care with direct approval by a veterinary surgeon. For horses on a continuing prescription, a health check must be performed for the continuation of the prescription at least every 6 months to ensure that the medication is still suitable for the patient and being prescribed at the correct dose. Before any POM is given your horse's passport must be presented to the prescribing veterinary surgeon. We strongly recommend that Section IX of your passport is signed to declare that your horse is NOT intended for human consumption, because for many of the medications we use routinely this section MUST be signed. Having your Section IX signed and recorded in advance allows us to use such medications without delay in an emergency.
Please note that all prescriptions will be sent directly to the pharmacy or veterinary practice from which the medications are being purchased - we are not able to hand over copies of prescriptions to our clients.
WE HAVE A FULL RANGE OF NON-PRESCRIPTION TREATMENTS THAT CAN BE SOLD WITHOUT PRIOR VETERINARY APPROVAL. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
